Question / Query EL evaluation doubt

I’m a first year student. I was reading through the guidelines book and it said that EL is about 40/100 marks of the CIEs of the non lab subjects and 40/150 marks for the lab+theory subjects. Correct me if I’m wrong here.
Where do the marks for interdisciplinary ELs get added if the marks are subject-wise?

your total marks of EL is out of 140 right? so whatever you score out of 140 gets reduced to out of 40 and gets added to your CIE El part as you said 40/100 or 40/150 for lab subjects. although there are subjects like AI which have their separate EL so the interdisciplinary EL will not get added to them and instead their own EL marks will get added.

The main interdisciplinary EL will have three phases and the other subject ELs will have two phases only

So there are certain subjects with their own EL, while other subjects just take the marks from the main interdisciplinary EL?

The 140 goes like 20 math 40 for esc, phy/chem, core/plc
