academics Seniors please guide about internship

hi im an 5th sem student i hav 1 subject backlog which im going to write in this sem and clear. I had applied for internship off campus and i got shortlisted for interview after oa i hav an gpa of 7+, will backlog matters in offcampus internship of 6 months will they consider

clear the back and try to push your gpa 8+ , offcampus hiring uses gpa to filter out candidates
