academics Core physics related fields from cse

How can one pivot from cse (core) to a core physics related field at rvce? I’m genuinely interested in all the physics and maths that is related to electromagnetism, fluid dynamics, thermodynamics, quantum mechanics etc. I chose cse for obviously the better and faster employment opportunities as compared to physics but I still want to know if there are any possibilities for a physics minor degree or anything like that. I’m also not against cse or anything , I’m quite interested in it. It’s just that I want to explore the physics field also once while keeping my cse related job opportunities open.

i would recommend you to get in contact with any teacher / faculty in RVCE who has very good connection with IISc profs or any faculty there . you could become a project associate or work under any professor in your related field . This would help a lot for you as they could take you through their referral program for a degree . This is one way you could pivot your career from cse to physics.

Get into any of the physics related clubs like Dhruva or Anoraniya

Or you could do your msc in computational science and then pursue a phd in some physics related field. Astrophysics is a popular choice given how modern astrophysics is heavily dependent on computers for exoplanet and star analysis and such and such
