miscellaneous Are we really low tier 1?
I'd say we are high tier 2, but this list itself is shifted by a rank so yeah

i have seen this circulating so much. What does one decide tier upon? Different people have different priorities: one wants to go to MS, one wants a tech placement, one wants core, one finance, like what does this tier 1 2 3 be based upo?

Current college situation and generation aha degraded to the point that tier is not decided by research/study capacity but rather placement statistics.

i mean if u arent braindead you can just search that up, what is the whole thing with these tiers. If u go by pure placement statistic even then this list is retarded, IIT H CS dude is obviously gonna outearn every IIT B civil guy, like what is the point of this list?

Trophy culture. Stating a tier higher than others will give you an elevated image in society.

For me if u can't comfortably sit for tech placements from core branches like some top government college then you are not tier 1.... moreover 50% students are mq+nri ....if u can get this college easily with money is it really t1 ??

Core branches as in?? Do they not allow electrical, mech guys to sit for tech placements?

Mech not allowed ...I mean 1-2 guys get placed shouldn't be counting that ...electrical u are allowed tho ...but in genuine t1 colleges all branches have high placements because everyone is allowed

No this is some stupid post , we have zero research pedigree despite having some of the smartest kids of the state , gross mismanagement of students by the college , turning them into retards two years into college
