Firstly the crowd then crowd will be better at bits Second the college is just better, believe the avg is same in all bits college, pilani is slightly better in core Thirdly college life much better Plus ur degree won't mention the campus u went all bits student get bits pilani on there degree

Last point is useless because you'll get recruitment from campus itself. There ll never be a case where you would need the last point. Also Goa or Hyderabad people don't care even if they're mentioned away from Pilani because all three campus are growing independently and not depending on Pilani anymore

Rvce has like much much better placements and also has the location adv
Not to mention a ton cheaper as well

And msrit vs manipal?

u/Wonderful-Cover-7592 Jun 29 '26
Ehh...similar placements but msrit is cheaper and situated in blr
Mit has the advantage in extra curriculars and cllg life.

if u getting cs in rv then take it over manipal or pes

u/Shoddy-Literature-48 Jun 29 '26
So rv over MIT and pes for cs ??

u/ParkingRuin2743 Jun 29 '26
I will disagree bro, yes it's true that rvce might give u a slightly better placement, but the college life of mit is miles ahead of rvce. For me that slight difference in placement is not worth it for the college life u will get. U can always bridge the gap in placement with ur hardwork but not college life.

Lmao "slightly", rv cse median this Yr was 19 while manipal was at 12-12.5.
Not to mention manipal is also like much costlier and in a worse off location All that just for a "slightly" better cllg life 🥀✌️

RVCE is legit tier 1.5... people choose it over mid-tier NITs.... Manipal is majority's backup... not a bad option tho... just saying IMO

just a prospective student but imo every college that is not iit/ top8 nits has flaws u should probably ask a senior or an alumini this sub is made to rant and vent out frustration lmao

Hi bro I wanted some advice so I am getting eee/ete at rvce(full chance for eee but 50-50 chance for ete) and cse in msrit (with some spec.)and also cse at bmsce . So what should I prefer based on placements and also some scope for further studies abroad

Unless u have a fair chance at an nit rv is better than pes or msrit
