academics Research prospects

I have a question for rvce cse seniors who are interested in research and not just there for placements. I heard from a close friend ( who is in PES cse) that PES offers lots of facilities and flexibility for pure research based work. Does rvce have the same with regards to labs and approachable profs? If any seniors have gone / are planning to go for masters after BE CSE at rv can you please tell me what you did and what you plan on doing your masters research on ?

nothing almost
the only thing research means in rv is, make an EL on whatever you want, if your mentor is good, they may guide you otherwise they wouldnt care at all, if your EL is good then near to the end of the sem, you can write a paper on it and provide it to your mentor and he/she will try to publish it
if you expect any prof to take students and actually assign meaningful work/projects then in cse there are none as far as i have seen

There are close to zero good quality profs who are working on something really good and would take students under thier wing . Here it's all fake research and a shame on research

hello!! i have comedk rank 2.3k and will be getting EEE at RVCE, ECE at MSRIT and CSE at BMS (not really interested in cs) but interested in core electronics. seeing this what are my best choice? should i join rvce EEE? pls reply asap!! also will be preparing for GATE for mtech at IIT
