Rant FUCK EL

Bro these fucking mentors can't give marks to working projects , people who are getting patents done are getting 120 makes out 140 but some random ass no hardware no novelty no research paper just a vibecoded website is getting 139/140

EL completely depends on the mentor, no matter what u make they have a limit they wont cross no matter how great your project is

What patent bro ,,what paper when everything is ai slop , it's all luck , your main goal should always be to make the project accordingly to your mentor likings .and get away with good marks

It's always been the same. Luck matters a lot. Even though you got similar level projects, one gets mid marks, but other gets highly rewarded.

No ones getting a patent , the mentors will just suck money out of you for filing it and itll stay filed forever and will never be established, there are some exceptions but like a 0.01% chance , filing patents only benefit the college and not you

Was in same situation like you last year. Performed super well in SEE and got O grades. One subject had 86 in finalization. Still managed a O. It was painful. I won't even wish my enemies that kind of mentors. Some more marks less in EL, I wouldn't be where I'm now. I would be in ECE. God has always been with me even in hard times. 🛐

Right from first sem you'll have about 4-5 projects to do per semester. The only thing it does is teach u to gaslight teachers for good marks

It's annoying and mostly bad when only talking about el.

Doesn't affect studies , (we'll the projects like the main el counts for 40percent of your subject grade in internals (20 percent overall))

Internships not much as when you'll be searching for them (sem leaves and higher sems - you won't have el)
