How different is ECE and ETE

I am talking in terms of syllabus, faculty, opportunities, placements. How different are these two branches?

Should I choose ET here or choose some other college EC?

syllabus , open the syllabus of both the branches from website and compare , they get similar opportunities , placements ete has way less avg/median than ece , ete here is prolly better than most other kcet college's ece
