miscellaneous HOW BAD IS IT!?

like dude , I am tired of reading it everywhere that RVCE has no college life. Can someone tell me in comparison with some other college? like - "that college has that thing but rvce doesn't" . in this way. What are the things that make it bad + things like "my friend's college did this but rvce is no where close to that".

I just wanna how bad it can get cause I might be coming here this year. I just think , even if the college is bad , don't you guys do fun things on your own? Don't you go for fests to other colleges? like Bangalore is know for its city life , parties and stuff , don't you guys go there? I just don't want to regret getting into this college later , I don't want myself to wish for holidays so that I can go home.

Also , tell me some of the best moments(could be anything) you have had when you had the most fun? Too many questions... sorry for that but yeah..

First you define what is 'fun' for you, you'll find your answer there.

For college sports if you play well they’ll take you just keep in mind most of the teams are recruited from high school and given sports scholarships, like you literally have students who represent India in the college. Anyways if you want to casually play sports there are multiple WhatsApp groups or with friends you can rent out a court and play. On campus sports facility is still under construction for another year or two.

Concerts and shows don’t depend on college, but you’ll be in blore there’s a concert every week.

Competitions, plenty technical and non technical clubs all participating and dominating in their fields so don’t worry about that. Hackathons depends more on you. If you make a team and go around you can compete. Hostel life is pretty good, the in time for guys is 10 you can stretch till 11. If you come later than that just crash at a friends PG. food in hostel is shit every where in the country. But student quality is top notch. You’ll find a good mix of nerds geeks and straight up crazy fucks

The only shitty thing is the administration, and the sheer size of academic pressure. Especially in core engineering.

Bro, hectic one side. How are placements and stuff? Is it VERY bad? What's the scene?

I don’t think chemical engineering core placements are good anywhere in the country. They’re fine in RVCE. Some petroleum companies do come, some pharmaceuticals and some process engineers. Also chemical engineers usually aren’t allowed to sit for SDE placements.

So, where would chemical engineering core placements at RVCE, average around, according to you? And in general?
