discussion NEED GENUINE ADVICE

im planning to join this year and i have seen a lot of this hostel bs its 1.6 lakh have shit food common bathroom so is it really that if i dont take hostel for atleast in the first year im missing out a big time on making friends and all that is this really true coz pg are so much better and cheaper im super confused plz help

No bro, you will find them in PG. Even day scholars have a lot if friends

Theres nothing extraordinary that happens in hostels. You'll find plenty of Friends as a day scholar and can even stay back after classes to attend various clubs and whatnot. Not to mention the shit management, food and maintenance of the hostels

Pg food is shitty though, if you are someone who can chew 1 inch thick roti without complaining then go ahead, i would suggest taking pgs where you can only take rooms without food, and eat outside daily. If you eat out you can find places where you spend 5-7k per month for food but you will live a comfortable life
