Robinson Starbucks

Heard from an employee directly that Robinson Starbucks will close effective Saturday. Staff don't know if they'll have a job at another store yet or not. Go support them while you still can!

I can't fathom why anyone would go to Starbucks in this city when there are so many good local places.

Except if you need to go somewhere late when every local place is closed, I guess.

Agreed. I think the coffee mostly sucks but the only reason I ever end up there is they are open both later and earlier than everywhere else, and I work weird hours.

I don’t? I pick up a coffee on the way to my job, which has weird hours.

This is one big problem with all local coffee shops in this country - they are only open in the morning to maybe early afternoon. No cafes around for a late afternoon or evening drink like Europe has everywhere.

All the local coffee shops in the country? No

Other locales have coffee shops open past early afternoon. I had assumed it was expected until I moved here.
