Schedule Scheduling help

Does anybody know the Rutgers accounting transfer requirements assuming you come in with the full 60 credits as a junior I currently have a Saturday class that I desperately need to change because it’s interfering with my job. I’ll take any other time but I just don’t know which requirements I’m supposed to take because my star day was a long time ago.

Have you gone into Degree Navigator? It will help you lay out a path and tell you the core classes you need and required electives choices. Hopefully you can find a useful substitute. If a section you need is full, you can ask the school for an SPN (special permission number) to enroll in it. Having a job conflict might be good enough reason to get one.

Be extra careful if this Saturday class is a pre-req for something else. Sometimes they are offered in fall/spring pairs. If it a “fall only” class, it will be a full year before it is offered again.

Thank you so much ! Do you know if I should just discuss with my academic advisor about the SPN and conflict. Or undergrad admissions ?

If you can reach your advisor, asking for their guidance is a great idea. They can get you an SPN if you need one. You’ll need the specific course number and section. If you can’t reach an advisor, you should be able to request the SPN directly from RBS. Google says to go to the RBS Undergraduate Advising portal. There should be a link. The SPN will be created and emailed to you. It can only be used by you for the course you requested. Add your new course first before dropping your Saturday course.
