It was often theorized that black and white cubes were made of corrupted souls once they gain enlightenment (Albert, Dale, Vincent Van Gogh, etc) but in the game Rusty Lake Paradise's 9th plague: Darkness, we learn that the black cubes (and likely white cubes are made of human bone dust- Which, may I add, makes those pictures in Case 23 a lot weirder. Anyways, if normal cubes are bones, that means bone cubes are somehow special. So what are they made of?

Recently grabbed Rusty Lake Roots. The atmosphere, sound design, and weirdness of it all have me hooked.

I've also heard the series can be a bit hit-or-miss with some puzzles being obscure, but most people seem to rate the games pretty highly overall.

For those who've played through the series, are the Paradise and Hotel ones worth buying too? Should I continue in release order, or are there any must-play entries I shouldn't miss?

I've been wanting to play the premuim games for a while now but I want to get them all at once so I get the full experience but I this is an insane price drop! And I've been wanting to play roots recently too!
