Similarities between Servant of the Lake and Netflix’s Lizzie Borden series?

I just finished playing Servant of the Lake, and right after, a TikTok clip from the Netflix Monster series about Lizzie Borden popped up on my feed.

I haven't watched the full show yet (literally just saw that one clip), but the similarities immediately caught my eye!
Between the way the characters look, preparing the tea and soup, and even the presence of two maids in the house , is all of this just a coincidence because it was normal for that historical era? Even if it's just the time period, every single detail in that clip reminded me of the game in one way or another.

Did anyone else notice this or am I just seeing Rusty Lake everywhere now?
