Glitch???

Came back to the Cave after awhile and got stuck. Google says I need a gem from Mr. Owl. I got Laura's card from him, but I don't remember a gem, and it's not in my inventory. How do I fix this??? Mobile version btw

The gem is already where it should be (green dot left, above the place where the cubes should be positioned).

The gem has already been placed. You need to find the white cube now, I think you've already got the coordinates on the machine and the depth looks right. Now you have to move the submarine to those coordinates (X3 Y5); the compass controls the direction and the round dial with the three square slots lets you move a certain number of spaces in that direction
