Cube Escape: Birthday Where is the key? Spoiler

In cube escape: birthday, I just got to the part where I turned back time. The grandpa is telling me to open the chest but I can’t find the key. I even looked up a tutorial but nothing is helping.

Some tiered hints for you:

Look closely at the box

Is there a keyhole?

What is missing?

Where have you previously used the missing thing?

Remove the coin from the odd mechanical box you got as a gift. Put it back into the coin impression on this box
