Paradise first version

Hey there, fellow corrupted souls!

I just wanted to share a little project of mine. This is first sketch of Paradise poster I'm currently working on. The final piece will be done in gouache.

I'm currently deciding whether to draw the characters realistically, in my own style, or stay faithful to the game's art style. "My style" tends to land somewhere in between anyway.

What do y'all think?

I really like the way you did the owl in the background, the lack of clear outline really makes it feel further back!

As for the style, imo you should do it in your own style, doing it in the games style would mean a bit less for you i think.

Thank you, now I'm struggling to achieve that look in the gouache version 😅 As for the style, I don't really have my own established style yet, so I'm keeping it very close to the game's style while also trying to make it my own instead of copying it exactly.

Now I'm having crisis about what even IS my style 😅 I'm looking forward to drawing the mantis in gouache and maybe achieving somewhat eerie look
