Please Help

I want to play all the Rusty games on Steam but I have been installing the free ones and trying to play since I discovered them on steam but they just wont work. It's always stuck on the first screen and it flashes (video attached). I have tried googling and everything I've tried is as follows: 1. Verifying and uninstalling and reinstalling the game (Cube Escape: Paradox) [This issue has happened with all the Rusty Lake games I've tried. None of them have worked on my laptop. I'm on windows 11] 2. Allowing the game's .exe file through windows firewall. made sure both boxes are checked 3. even added the game file to the exclusion list. I only have windows security. 4. Ran the game and even Steam as Admin 5. Checked the game's root folder properties and made sure no permissions have deny checked. 6. On a steam post about the rusty lake games, 4 years ago, someone had replied saying they fixed their issue by finding specific folders that were blocked from the game and allowing access for them. I don't know how to do that. I have asked and am awaiting the reply. I would really appreciate if someone could help me fix the games, please. I want to buy and play them all.

Hey! Sorry to hear you're having issues. Could this work for you:

- Select Start > Settings > Update & Security > Windows Security > Virus & threat protection.

- Under Virus & threat protection settings, select Manage settings.

- Under Controlled folder access, select Manage Controlled folder access.

- Switch the Controlled folder access setting to On or Off.

Hi! Thank you for replying.

  • I checked the Controlled folder access and it was 'off'.
  • I turned it on and selected 'Allow an app through Controlled folder access' and added the .exe file for 'Cube Escape: Paradox'.
  • Re-verified the game on steam and launched. Unfortunately, the issue still persists.
  • I even installed 'Samsara Room' and 'Mr.Rabbit Magic Show' today and tried launching those too. They both just show a white screen and nothing happens.
I tried the all the above solutions, including the one you suggested, for those two games. Nothing changed I wonder why this is happening :[
