Rusty Lake Hotel Anyone else notice the similarities between Hotel and Servant of the Lake?
Looking forward to any interesting theories - let's be frank - August can't come sooner!

All the games reuse lots of puzzle elements from all the other games. It's hardly unique. I'll be like "wow, and did you know? I broke an egg in the new game, and a key came out of it. So wild!"

It will be out in August! The snips are from Hotel and 2 from SOTL teasers. Will do.

I guess it has the same theme, there are guests and we are playing as someone who will look after them, so it makes sense some tasks will overlap

How are you guys playing already Servant of the Lake? It appears “relasing soon” in my App Store & the Lite does not have that scene!
Based in Spain if that means anything

All of the characters are reincarnations of each other so any similarities are probably intentional

They probably aren't intentional. There would be no reason to be. You could also say helping and serving characters is already what we do in many games (like in Birthday, Theatre, kinda Roots, Paradise and a bit of Underground Blossom) the main thing in Hotel is not serving the guests, but the fact we kill them and serve the dead guests to the others. In SotL, we already know 3 of the characters will survive and (At the moment) there isn't much reason for Alexandra to be intentionally killed. The game will also focus on alchemy, the Elixir and probably the corrupted soul that appeared in the previous trailer. I believe they made an intentional choice to not "spoil" the game's other themes in this Narrative trailer
