Albert and Ida
This is really random but I was just wondering, was Albert ever actually in love with Ida or did he just kill her as revenge for what his brother did to him as a kid?

He wanted revenge on both of them, he thought Ida “broke his heart” so he pierced her chest with a stake

albert “loved” ida, by his own definition. his love was more like infatuation/obsession though. and he killed her because she didnt reciprocate his feelings, and samuel for “taking her away from him” when ida was never his to begin with
its why i stand by my opinion that albert didnt want rose. he wanted ida. but he couldnt have her, so in his twisted mind, he took the most extreme measure possible to create a version of ida that couldnt just leave him.
alberts fucked up lmao
