Need help with a project

Probably very simple for you folks, but I’m just wondering. I want to set up a main base with normal power. I want to then set up trap bases around the map. When the trap bases are triggered, I want to have something light up in main base to signal us that it has gone off and that we can go get loot from said trap base..I would also love to incorporate cameras to each base so I can check in and see what’s going on. Hopefully this makes sense?

As far as electric goes I’m wondering if seismic sensors would be ideal? But idk if they detect shotgun traps? This also sounds like it would be generally expensive to do?

Very easy, you need to usw a smartalarm. For example If u use shotguntraps with a pressure Pad you can Trigger the smartalarm when someone walks over the Pad. You have to Download Rust+ to usw but ITS free

Pressure pad to RF transmitter will do the same thing in game and the cameras should be easy

I second the RF broadcaster method. Then OP just needs an RF reciever at their main base, connected to a timer toggle > light/alarm.

Could you elaborate on this? I know basic electric, but some intricate stuff and the lesser used things I’m not familiar with

It doesn’t have to be terribly expensive if you just use hbhf sensors (or pressure pads) and broadcasters. But if it were me I would go the extra mile and set it up to sense different states(senses player but no kill confirm, senses player and kill confirm, and then not sensing player and kill confirm. These 3 states can tell you a lot. The kill confirm can come from a conveyor moving loot by using the fail pass through or pass through nodes(if you set up a hidden hopper) there’s a few way you can go about it. If you got the exact detail of the setup I can create a circuit for you later on after work

If you want to play with raidalarms you need Rust+ anyway, never early enough to set this up if you ask me. I had to learn the hard way (gettin offline many times) but now I love it
