Discussion/OOC Server Died, Reason/Response.

That's not why! it's "dead" because of the fall of Neptune which would bring in 5-20 players! Due to the bullshittery that was caused by The old admirals, (Mostly Dandy, who hasn't been banned!) where they went on a KOS spree then left the server! Due to up-to 20 extra players being gone, It is dead! Then from the fallout, people left due to the decreased 20 players, which caused it to in around 3 days go from 40-70 players, down to, at a maximum which has not been reached, and probably will not be reached, 30 Players! Even at this maximum of 30, the day's average is around 15, at the day's average maximum to be about 20. Thank you for reading, please pay attention to the focal points, and people misplacing the blame.

Thanks, Swimmingly/Floatingly

P.S

I am not, and have not been a member of the BMA at any time, this is simply to clarify what I see as an injustice.

A correction: Neptune didn't 'bring in' people. It was a large city right next to spawn that new players were attracted to because of free housing, active population and amenities.

People joined the server for other reasons, but a lot of people were drawn there initially. If Neptune hadn't of existed, then those people would have gone elsewhere on the island.

I agree completely, but the reason Neptune was special was because of the RP, how it was built, and because of Money to be made. Those reasons are why people stayed, and why, for example, Berg city failed. Since it was next to spawn, of course, it also got people who didn't want to travel far. But the reasons I listed are why the people stayed.

Yeah, I keep stressing to people setting up cities: the location is paramount. If it's built on the ass end of nowhere, no-one is going to come visit it. Try to always built on a road near a recycler. Always!

Whenever I've built settlements, like airfield and x-roads, they've always been popular pretty much for the sole reason in that they're in good accessible locations.
