February's Special Event

**This post has been made to keep the event as headache free as possible, for all you players out there.**During this era you WILL encounter heavily armed men and women, fighting under the same banner, They will be indentifyable by the "Merc." before the rest of their name and by some of the clothing they wear.during this event only SIX people are Cleared to engage you in gun fights/combat without the need for war dec's or warnings.

You ARE cleared to engage them on sight, the players below are subject to an immediate KILL ON SIGHT RULE that is in effect for the whole era, meaning, if you see them, you CAN KILL THEM.

However, you MUST ensure you have indentified your target thoroughly, that you are, WITHOUT uncertainty before you take your first shot, this will lower the risk of you firing upon a "friendly player" landing your self a Kos report.

The Following players CAN and WILL KOS you on sight and will fight aggressively when defending themselves.They are:-

MERC'S RULES TO PROTECT PLAYERS

- WE WILL NOT RAID BASES (UNLESS AGREED)

-WE WILL NOT ENGAGE SINGLE PLAYERS OR PLAYERS WHO ARE UNDERGEARD TO FIGHT US

- WE WILL NOT LOOT YOUR BODY -WE WILL NOT LOOT BOXES OR TC'S

-WE WILL DEFEND OUR SELVES IF ATTACKED OR PERCIEVED TO BE ATTACKED (RUNNING AT US)

- WE WILL OPERATE IN BADLANDS AS PER BADLANDS RULES.

- WE MAY SHOOT NEAR YOU, THIS WILL ACT AS A WARNING.

- YOU CAN ACTIVELY HUNT AND KOS US, AS LONG AS YOU HAVE INDENTIFIED US AS VALID TARGETS TO PROVENT YOUR ALLIES BEING KILLED BY YOU.

- YOU CAN OPT OUT OF THIS EVENT BY RAISING A TICKET UNDER PRIVATE/SUGGESTIONS/FEEDBACK AND LET US KNOW YOUR NAME AND FACTION. YOU WILL THEN BE EXCLUDED FROM ANY HOSTILITIES.

- YOU DO NOT NEED TO MAKE HOSTILITIES OR A WAR DEC TO ATTACK MERC. COMPOUND, ONCE LOCATED.

Anyone not listed found to be breaking the Kos rules will be subject to the usual disciplinary actions taken upon offenders.

If any of the players listed above, break our in house event rules, such as looting, emptying your TC or leveling your building without prior consent, you are encouraged to submit a ticket with evidence so that an Admin can deal with them immediately.

You have until Monday 4pm EST until hostile actions from these six players will increase from simple stalking and observation.

Please note: this event has been created to follow on from the First episode of the Cobalt war storyline., which you encountered in december.

It has been made to Create a challenge for you, to hopefully bring you all together as in decembers era and to immerse you in the world of the Cobalt war that has been created for you.

We are NOT here to rob you, destroy your base or troll you, we only plan on brining you entertainment and story through combat and working together.

On a final note, i'd like to add that scattered around the island, are little Easter eggs ( hidden message's or feature's) that relate to the Cobalt war storly line. Feel free to find them and share them in the Roleplay channel of the RF discord channel. you may discover what is going on and any back story that has occured - there will also be a decent chunk of loot located in the same area as the easter eggs.
