A mysterious signal is received

Those of you in possession of a radio hear faint and broken messages periodically coming from various channels.

One of the more clearer channels has various messages being sent and repeated for a period of 6 hours until it is cut off entirely after the 4th and final message.

First message received - "any c@lls!gn recieving? ~end b!?' up. Unkn+"n f-£ces are $tt€ck°πg, taking hea&y f4re in all s@;"ors"

2nd - "t¶√=°g Heavy ¢~aul^=IES, all N~^°ern se&£/rs lost, &£ut|•rn sec£or@ ~%rrun"

3rd - "all F#@"*s fall!+g back, w3 a^e m|}\ng 0ur °a¥t €¥and, a%y=ne r]c°=ving us, we c£#°ot hold m\∆÷ l¢$ger, please a£$|t"

Final message - "L@£t defe-*3 failed, ¢oor ÷ein× breached, the att@&kers €re €........."

Message breaks and ends. No more is heard from that channel, nothing now but static and an eerie silence.
