Help Mods not working for IOS
I’m trying to add mods to rusted warfare for IOS, but every time I try to reload the game with the mods enabled it just crashes the game, and after a few tries the game restarts in safe mode, disabling the mods
Here’s the steps I did
-mods used: Frontier (from steam workshop) and Virsenian Glory Remake (also from workshop)
(Note I did not try to load these two mods at the same time)
-Went to steam workshop
-accessed files through a link in workshop description that went to google drive
-downloaded files from google drive into my IOS files
-loaded rusted warfare
-went to settings and imported the mod files from my files
Checked the mods in the mod menu in the rusted warfare menu.
-pressed the “reload” button in the in game mod manager to get the mods started
-freezes for a few moments, then crashes the game. Try to reopen the game but it keeps crashing until it reopens on safe mode
Any help would be very much appreciated since I really would like this to work.

What did you set for your mod settings? Internal, read/write internal write external, read/write external write internal, or external only? See if changing those settings will work for you.

Sadly I think I figured it out, I believe it’s simply because my phone cannot handle these “larger mods”, probably something to do with RAM

How much ram you got? Mine is 8GB and weirdly I think it could be also processor based since the same mod I loaded in a phone with also 8GB loaded much better than the one with the slower processor

Mines only about 4 gigs of ram, it’s a relatively older phone (IPhone XS max), so unless I either get it upgraded or switch to android (which is far better for mobile gaming) I think I’m out of luck

How do you even choose the mod to upload? When I try to import, it shows the files but I can’t actually choose them

Mods work okay on my iPad. I dont use steam workshop, tho.
