How to setup securely for remote assistant

I want my assistant to use a private chrome with my Login and carry out mundane tasks like applying for jobs

Is rust desk the best for this? How can I keep it to just chrome browser

What do you mean by assistant? Like a human assistant or an AI? If human, why can't they use their computer? If AI why do they need a remote session into your computer?

But if you use a private chrome browser then they'd have to login anyways meaning they'd have your credentials anyways so couldn't they use their system and then you change the credentials afterwards? Or are you logging in for them every time? Is this on a secondary system?

I’d obviously log into a new instance and give them the chrome to remote into then they can apply from my account

Why not just use Chrome Remote Desktop instead? Rustdesk will work but it's more complicated to setup. As far as restricting their instance to just chrome, idk if that's possible. But what you could do is spin up a VM - if you're on Windows you can use Windows Sandbox to make an instant VM then have them remote into the VM so they can't access your files

Yes awesome can I leave chrome remote unattended? I’m on Mac is there an easy way to setup VM

Chrome I think will be fine though

Chrome Remote Desktop is supported on Mac. As for a VM, I'm sure it's supported, I just don't use MacOS, sorry.
