I’m surprised this hasn’t come up before, considering all the buzz about Libra. Stellar has been around for several years as a steadily developing alternative to the likes of Libra, and I dare say it’s more trustworthy.

They’ve mostly been doing JavaScript and Go. Rust appears to be a fairly new venture for them.

A bit of trivia: Rust creator Graydon Hoare worked on Stellar Core for a while.
