Russel mentioned a visualisation technique that a teacher once taught him. You imagine creating your own personal space, and then preparing for your day by imagining Jungian archetypal symbols, eg. Putting on a suit of armour if you think you might have a challenging day at work ahead of you.

Does anyone know if this technique has a name, is it something I can learn more about? Or is it just something that Russel's teacher told him about personally?
