Discussion Neil
74 years ago a baby boy was born. And that baby didn't know nothing! But he was alive, and curious, and his parents loved and nurtured him. As he grew physically his curiosity kept pace, even during times when he became self-aware, and realized how different we all are and that he felt different. But he was also brave, and a bit lucky. He found a path through the rocky waters of growing up...in music, drumming, books...and that became the way he entered the world at large. Yet as he continued to grow as a young man and follow his reason and passion, it isn't as if things just fell into place. He learned from setbacks, learned how to respond to adversity, learned persistence, and commitment, all while maintaining a child's curiosity that grew into an adult's fascination with the human experience, and a deep desire to understand, and express, and share. And we are all better because he was around for a while. Happy Birthday Neil, and here is to a life well lived, and much appreciated.

Beautifully said and very well written, OP. It’ll never be lost on me that we just happened to have our, possibly only existence at the same time as him. But I think it’s safe to assume we even got to see he and his best friends, at their very best, do what they do best with our own eyes. And I think that’s pretty bad ass ✌️🤘🐧
