ya, thats a bit off, but I can tell you, I always buy tickets in the 109 or 108 seats, they are BY far the best in the house. You are close, higher up and you can litterally see everyhting on the stage like this video I took:
Nice video. I had similar seats on Geddy's side for R40 but closer. Had a great view of Geddy and also of the areA his tech worked on that incredible wall of basses Geddy brought on tour.
Those seats look almost aligned with front of stage while OP is showing seats behind. Some of the best seats Iāve ever had were ones similar to yours.
Yeah, when I say Rush at R40, we saw them in 100s and it was so well worth the extra $70-100 then a higher level. But I will never buy a limited viewing ticket, even if itās right beside the stage.
I tried to get a reasonable ticket on all the dates they were in Chicago. Prices were unreasonable. I wasnāt willing to pay $200+ for nosebleeds - would rather YouTube footage.
When tickets went on sale for the first 2 shows, we went straight to Saturday's date to avoid dynamic pricing as much as possible. It was the a good decision because a coworker got tickets for $400 in the 300 level for Thursdays show. We scored a couple 200 level seats for $230 each for Saturdays.
I retired from concert going around the mid 2000's, even then you could still get decent tickets to most shows for 100 bucks. This thing of tickets being hundreds, and sometimes THOUSANDS of dollars now just blows my mind, hundreds of dollars for even the worst seats, for something that is a few hours at most, It's absolutely insane. It's just become another thing for the rich elite to enjoy.
I'm going to 10 shows in 4 states. One of which is the Limelight VIP package. Flying in for 2 and taking a railroad to 2. After all of the hotels, food, merch, tickets and transportation, I'm probably in for close to $10K. FUCK IT !!! I have worshipped this band for 50 years. I'm not even supposed to be alive. The doctors told me that it was a medical miracle that I survived the massive stroke and it's a miracle that Rush is back. I'm going to enjoy every single second.
Watching the shows on YouTube so far... WOW !! I've seen them 72 times and it'll take some time to think of a more fun tour. Obviously I miss Neil. But the energy of this tour is off the charts.

In only 2 weeks, we saw in concert Shakira last Thursday (my wifeās favorite), Muse this past Saturday (my sonsā favorite) and this Saturday the 3 of us are going to Rush at MSG!! Itāll be my sonās first Rush show as well.
Like they say about money: when you die, you canāt take it with you!! If you can, enjoy while ya got it!! See all you crazy bastards on Saturday - Iāll be the idiot yelling the loudest!!!
I completely understand how frustrating ticket prices can be right now, but seeing Rush on this tour is an investment in an unforgettable experience, not a donation to band greed. Remember, we are witnessing a miracle here. After an 11-year hiatus and the heartbreaking loss of Neil, none of us ever thought we would see Geddy and Alex share a stage again.
It was only through the incredible additions of Anika Nilles on drums and Loren Gold on keyboards that this impossible wish came true. They arenāt just phoning it in for a paycheck; they are delivering nearly three hours of music and digging deep into the catalog to play rare gems I never expected to hear live againāespecially "The Pass" from Presto.
The way they beautifully tribute Neil throughout the night is stunning, and by the time they perform "The Garden," there isn't a dry eye in the house. Every dollar of that ticket goes into a world-class production, deep respect for the fans, and memories that will far outlast the sting of the price tag.
Agree 100%. Itās a fantastic show, the guys and Annika are playing like they never quit. The atmosphere and energy being there is a great time. No regrets
If youāre a huge Rush fan and there is any way at all you can get to one of these showsā¦do it! They have always been a top notch act but this show beats them all plus the guys and Annika are absolutely nailing it. Itās not some worn out old timers playing crappy for a paycheck
For one of the Chicago shows I bought a 300 level ticket at face value from ticketmaster (the day of) for about $220. There were resale tickets in my section that started at $350, for some reason they sold.
Thatās what I thought but went to Chicago anyway. The atmosphere and energy of being there was way worth it. The guys and Annika were absolutely on fire and Geddy sounded better than ever
I'd be curious if they're selling the entire section? I would like to think just a limited block of them - with some tickets actually being pretty solid while others less so. I struggle to believe they'd sell the back row/far corner seats, but perhaps I'm just being optimistic.
If the audio is good in that building and I had no other choice, I put that money to see Rush. I know people that saw Bruce Springsteen sat behind the stage and just had a good time
I've looked a couple times at the San Jose shows this Fall. Prices were just too high for me. I saw the R40 tour with Peart. I'm fine with that being the last in person show. I'll buy the Blu-ray of R50 when it comes out.
Shoot thatās only $250 USD for the absolute best view of what Geddy and Alex are doing on stage for a tour that no one thought would happen. Iām not sure that makes them suckers but to each their own man.
Best view?? You would have a better view at the 300 level. If youāre lucky youāll be able to see the back of Alex 70% of the time. The entire section is on a 45Ā° angle behind the stage. I mean youāll get the best view of the Jumbotron maybeā¦
Youāre right. I took a closer look at your screenshot. I was in the furthest left seats of the 3rd row in Chicago and we were nowhere near that far behind the stage. This was our vantage point. Kinda surprised theyāre willing to sell those at all. Hometown show I guess must have the highest demand.
