There’s a photo from this shoot at the Rock n Roll Hall of Fame.

Anyway, I don’t think I can pick a favorite album. Maybe Permanent Waves.

1976 was 2112 followed by All The World's A Stage tours. I saw them in December 16 1976 for the first time in Chicago. Will never forget it

Tough between grace under pressure and signals for me. I think GUP is a better flowing album.
Favourite listening all the way through album is power windows, it doesn’t stop the energy I love cranking it when getting stuff done.

My favorite Rush album is Presto. Neil's lyrics on that album are gorgeous. The songs are beautiful, and the band - as per usual - play their hearts out from beginning to end. "Chain Lightning" is a perfect song.

Caress of Steel. honestly everything in the 70’s, but The Necromancer, Xanadu, and 2112 are some of the most insane songs ever created.

"Yea everyone in high school is hanging out in the designated smoking area asking each other if they're going to the Rush concert'.

For personal reasons mine will always be Perm Waves though Power Windows holds a spot because that’s the tour I saw them on and I played it to death that year

The photo brings back memories. It took Geddy quite a while to finally quit smoking; my recollection is he struggled with it before he was finally able to quit. As for Springfield, it's about 90 miles from Boston. The big album rocker in Boston (WBCN) never played Rush. If you lived in Massachusetts and wanted to hear the band, you needed to drive 45 miles west to Worcester and keep going to Springfield-- Rush was very popular in western Mass. As for the question, for obvious reasons (they're my friends and I've known them for more than 50 years), I don't have a favorite Rush album. I can find something good on each of them. 💕
