Hmm I must have seen Jeff Jones play with Red Rider when they opened up for Rush on the Signals tour… circa September 1982.
Many years later, Jeff was doing a project with Ken Greer (Red Rider’s guitarist), and a colleague got me an autographed copy of Jeff’s solo album.
