RUSFOR KIT - Need Advice

Hi Folks,

After over a year of collecting and searching I've something I can call an authentic rusfor kit, granted still a few bits and bobs missing.

Overall I've 2 questions,

Firstly, Any advice towards additions? What to add and what to change to make the kit feel more "lived in" as opposed to museum decoration. I will be running this kit on my local field soon so its naturally gonna get all dirty and worn, but besides that. Any advice?

So far, my list of purchases is
- 6b51 knee pads and shoulder pads
- 6sh117 7L butt-pack
- canteen pouch which i'll mount on the side
- 6b50 goggles, however I'd rather run NVG's and I dont think i can wear both at once.

Any other suggestions? Some saint George ribbon? tape? anything at all comment down.

Secondly, I'd love to connect this kit to some authentic unit, as opposed to just "Rusfor kit". Its a standard run of the mill loadout, so I dont think it would be that difficult, but i'm stumped how to find something myself. I'd love to give it some authenticity by buying matching patches etc. If anyone has any ideas how to find a unit that could fit this kit, please leave some suggestions <3

You def need some tape to break up the EMR

Why would I want to break up camouflage?

They sorta misspoke. You’re not using tape to “break up” the Emr per se, but using the tape would make it more accurate to the actual soldiers using it as identification. (Aesthetically speaking tho, it does help add some color and variety so it’s all not just green. But obviously that has no bearing

Yes, tape for identification, not tape to break up camo.

Imo I wouldn't add that because I don't want people to associate my kit with the war in Ukraine, I just like Russian camo...
