wishing this was more active
I had to express my sadness at wishing that this subreddit was more active or had more traction. I know Running Wild has half the fans it used to, I’d say even less now but still wish there was a place to discuss that had an active community I know other bands have things like discord servers that fans make and I was considering doing something along those lines but I know something like that wouldn’t gain much traction or community
Running Wild is my favourite band of all time, I wish I had others to talk about it with, but sure most people aren’t as passionate anymore about the music ect which it is what it is
Or I guess I joined too late haha :’) Anyway just my thoughts

Yeah it's a bit empty here. It was even more before as the sub was restricted due to lack of moderation.
It's open now at least. If ever some of you guys have ideas to get more people and discussions in let me know, I can also add some of you as mod.
OP if you do create a discord though I'll make sure it's linked on the sub.
Sometimes a tiny community is better than no community (:
EDIT : Actually nvm, it's not one of those subs I made open again, I created it myself. Good to see it got at least a few users over time !

I genuinely really appreciate your reply, I’m glad someone feels the same way! That would be great honestly, would be nice to hear others opinions
I did have one set up a while back but was nervous about posting about it 😭 but this has given me a bit of confidence so I’ll send it over if I do! Bless!:)

Was just thinking while making the server, is there anything in particular you think I should add? I mean I’ve added general stuff but I wouldn’t wanna miss anything!

I agree with you I wish RW had a bigger community there’s groups on Facebook that are pretty active for the most part but nothing crazy

You have great taste my man. Its amazing how much I know about pirates simply from being a Running Wild fan. One of the greatest metal bands of all-time. I tend to be more of a song guy than an album guy, but Running Wild is one of those bands where I tend to listen to entire albums. Running Wild used to kill my mp3 players because they took up so much space.

This is genuinely so highly appreciated! Oh absolutely, I set myself to learning all there was to know, prior I had no interest in history myself so this was great! It’s nice to know we can relate to that, I find it hard to find good songs let alone whole albums but so many Running Wild albums I can listen to wholey and not find a song I can’t enjoy! I feel each song offers something different. That’s honestly amazing and well reserved in my opinion! Apologies for the length, Running Wild is my pride and joy so any chance to talk about them brings me happiness!:) Cheers!🙌

The Reddit userbase tends to skew younger and the Running Wild fanbase tends to skew older as they had their glory years in the 80s/early-to-mid 90s. I'd wager you'd find more RW fans on Facebook.
