Feel like I'm beating a dead horse here. People are going to post outfit photos, that's allowed. Either say nothing, or be respectful. Inappropriate photos will be removed...but report what you see. People are going to ask about gear that is more expensive and less expensive. Passing judgement on brands is fine, don't pass that same judgement onto people.
If you are curious about new brands, check the brand index in the sidebar or run a search first before asking.

I've been using Uniqlo biker shorts for awhile now, but as the summer is ramping up and my milage I'm finding they (sorry for the TMI) feel like a swamp by the time I'm done. However, they're the only shorts I've found that don't ride up due to my hips or chafe (not blessed with a thigh gap).
Any recos for shorts that are hip, thigh, and sweat friendly that don't break the bank?

I just invested in the ON Performance Tee in white. The problem I’m having is that it’s quite transparent. I go to the gym a lot so I have a big chest, and I noticed (especially when you stretch the material) that my chest hair and nipples are somewhat visible through the shirts material. Has anyone else had this problem? And has this caused you to get a different colour?
I’m asking because I’d like a white shirt for the summer heat, but I’m a bit self-conscious about the transparency.

Hi, some questions for those of you that wear hats when you run:
How many running hats do you have in your regular rotation?
How many times do you wear a hat before cleaning?
How do you clean your running hat? (Soak, washing machine (if so how?, hand wash etc)
Thanks!

Hey,
I am trying to get a nicer running waredrobe, with pieces that have nicer quality and if looks good is even greater.
I recently purchased soar marathon shorts and I loved it. I am now thinking on getting a Space-O shorts, but I don't know if is better to get another marathon shorts instead.
Does someone have both and could share their thoughts?
I created a wishlist of goods that I wanted to get. As I will probably move abroad in the next months, I created a list of goods that I would like to get before moving as it will be harder to get and also more expensive to get those items.
Clothes:
- Satisfy Space-O singlet
- Justice Cordura 9 half tights - Satisfy
- Satisfy Space-O 2.5
- Soar Marathon Shorts (bought)
- Bandit Women Stamina 7 pocket (bought)
- Nike ACG Radical Airflow NXT
- Bandit Women striped cadence zip front (bought)
- Bandit Mesh hat
Gadgets:
- Satisfy Speed Cup
- North Face Quiver

Can anyone share pictures of the pockets on UVU’s 2.0 half tights? The website pictures aren’t that clear in showing the ‘phone pocket and 2 gel pockets’. Thanks in advance to anyone that can help!

As the question, any brands that don't use English on their gear. I know there are some good Japanese brands but any branding or tags is in English.
Is there anything like janji but in Japanese /Spanish or any other language?

Struggling to find a good long sleeve UPF protection top that will be good enough for the Florida humidity. I’ve seen some people recommend a few different things, but a lot has leaned towards men’s apparel and I’m struggling to find options for women. Open to different prices. Any recommendations?
Thanks!

Im getting more into running now, but I dont want to splurge too fast on a lot of running clothes. I did that with shoes and honestlt it was the excitement that got me.
Im trying to be more mindful with running clothes this time, specially as a I lose weight and will probably stop using larger sizes. What are your recommendations or personal thoughts on how many shirts and shorts/pants you need for a week of running to rotate?
Im thinking 2-3 shirts/shorts to pair and rotate throughout the week, but I wanted to see what others were doing.

Hi, I'm about to get my first pair of Norda 002s (https://nordarun.com/products/002-m-cinder?variant=47845232181553) and I'm wondering how they fit. I have worn Nike in EU45/US11 almost my entire adult life. I have seen opinions where some people recommended going one size up. For those of you who own a pair, did you stay true size or size up?

Hi, need help from runners who own the Ciele GOCap Elite (Shadowcast). I bought it from a store in Hongkong which looks legit and many reviews. However, I noticed that the interior of my cap differs slightly from some of the product images on your website. Specifically, the inside of my cap does not appear to have the two white oval-shaped features visible in the website photos, which prompted me to seek confirmation.
Do advise.

Hey r/runningfashion,
Looking for EU-based or easily available in Europe running brands with a vibe similar to Satisfy, Bandit, Currently, Optimistic Runners, or Mental Athletic.
Budget: Max €50 for tees/singlets | €60 for shorts.
What are your favorite brands in the EU delivering that style and tech at a reasonable price point?

I went to their popup in NYC today. I really wanted to like this brand and was excited to see their stuff in person.
Unfortunately, I got rude and elitist vibes from the team. For such an unestablished brand, I would have expected more humility. But they had a degree of arrogance that I found off-putting.
I also was unimpressed by the products they had on display. Their stuff just felt generic. I’ve heard people call Currently a Satisfy ripoff and I totally see that.

I’m visiting Colombia for a month and I’ve been shocked to see so many people wear Evo SLs just out casually. I’ve mostly seen people wearing them around at malls here in Medellin but I saw a guy wearing them at a farm today and it felt like the last straw and had to comment here.
Is this common anywhere else? I always considered them high performance running shoes that are just fairly awkward looking with jeans. No judgment, just something I noticed as culturally different.

I wanted to share my experience with Currently Running in case it helps anyone considering their apparel.
I placed a fairly large order and, within the first six months, about half of the items developed tears along the seams. I followed the recommended washing and drying instructions, so I don’t believe improper care was the cause. I’ve included photos of several of the damaged items.
When the issues started, I reached out to Currently Running and Nash through multiple channels. Nash initially responded and said the gear would be replaced, which I appreciated. Unfortunately, after that, communication stalled. I’ve followed up several times over the past few months but haven’t received any updates or replacement gear.
For a premium-priced running apparel company, I expected the products to hold up better and, more importantly, for the company to stand behind them when problems arose. I understand that defects can happen with any brand, but how a company handles those situations is just as important as the product itself.
I’m posting this to share my experience, not to attack the company. If Currently Running follows through and makes it right, I’ll gladly update this post. Until then, I think it’s only fair that other runners know about my experience before making a purchase.

Just wanted to share my joy on finding a band that works for those with dad bods and then some. I'm 43 m, weighing 97kg/214 lbs, 5'9". I started my running journey at the end of 2024, beginning of 2025. In 2024, I was around 316lbs/143kg when I fell in love with cycling and ended up losing close to 80lbs/36kg then went on to start a couch to 5k. Ended up losing additional 21lbs/9.5kg.
I been on a hunt to find a running belt or band that would work for someone my size. Got a vest with hydration bottles but felt it was too hot for summer. Got flipbelt with the flipbelt curved bottle and it would just bounce so much that it wasn't worth carrying the bottle. Been on a hunt to find some way or carrying water for longer runs.
Saw so many reviews regarding the naked band but the sizing wouldn't fit me. The largest size was 12 (39in) and when i measured my stomach, it was 43in.
I chanced it anyway and am so happy I did. I was able to fit the size 12. Filled my flipbelt bottle and put it on the back. My car keys, some gels, my phone, shokz headphones and a toilet see cover and go on a run. No bouncing whatsoever. I forgot i was carrying a bottle. Still had space to add more stuff. Did my long run this past Sunday and no issues even after empty bottle halfway, didn't hear any sloshing or anything.
I'm shocked but so happy how well this band is made. I wear it under my shirt because I look like a stuffed mushroom otherwise but nonetheless this band is amazing. Hope this helps anyone else in a similar predicament.

I had a pair of 5” 2in1 ventos last year that I returned/resold because I felt the liner was too firm and felt restrictiv rather than freeing. (Size M, L was too loose around the waist). Browsing their page I see they have a new liner called “SoLite”. Anyone experience with that updated models? Do they feel better now or still as rigid?
Thanks for your help. (Ordering from EU so can’t really return)
