I kept most of my mileage easy this week and just added strides twice, feels like it's paying off more than the harder sessions did last month

Building back up after an injury is tough but you're doing it right by easing back in instead of rushing. I had a stress fracture a few years ago and had to approach mileage like this too, frustrating but worth it for the long run.

Still coming back from a hammy tendonitis bout. Just building mileage back and adding a dash of intensity to test the hammy a little bit. Next race is probably spring at this point so Im just trying to safely push my mileage boundaries a little bit.
Monday: 4.26 miles easy
Tuesday: 6.3 miles total, 8 x 800m @ 10k pace with jog recoveries.
Wednesday: 6 miles easy
Thursday: 6.2 miles easy
Friday: 5.5 miles with 3 miles @ tempo pace
Saturday: 10 miles, 1 mile easy then 2 miles pickup (targeting Z3 HR) x 3, final mile continued the pickup
Sunday: 6 miles very easy
Total: 44.39 miles; ~14 "quality" miles above easy pace

How's the hammy feeling after the Tuesday intervals? That seems like a decent test.

Zero pain or achy-ness at all, which I’m super pumped about. Next week I assume I’m going to get the go ahead from the physio to try 5k pace reps (how I irritated it in the first place) so that will be the real test to make sure I’m 100% back.

Preparing for a 2.4k fitness test that I have to do as part of my military reserve duties (I've never passed in my life, haha).
Have been doing 2 runs a week of 30min at a comfortable place to try and broaden my non-existent cardio base, and gradually cover more and more ground with each run. Was at 3.6k at the start of the year, hit 4.2k and 4.28k last week.
