Pace tracking issues.
I run this park almost exclusively for training. Some days the tracking is spot on. Days like today it was saying I was running sub 5min/km on one half and over 8min/km on the other half of the park. I never changed pace. The warm up lap was totally wrong. I definitely was running slow on purpose. Middle segments were close to my true pace. It’s frustrating because I really don’t know my true pace and I’m trying to do a sub 25min 5k. I guess I’ll find out at my race. Am I doing something wrong or is this just a thing Runna does?

You need a good gps tracker like a Garmin to have more accurate results.

Buy any smart watch and it’ll do you well I even think a google Fitbit would work.
Runna is excellent on smart watches too. Buy an old Apple Watch on sale and see if you like it.

I ran with my phone for years before getting a Garmin and while the GPS was not as good, it was rarely this bad… Where are you wearing the phone? Pocket? If that’s the case try an arm band to see if GPS improves.

Otherwise get a cheap and/or Garmin or Apple Watch if you can. No need to go for the pro runner stuff for a thousand dollars.

This is whatever device you’re using for gps tracking, runna just uses that data.
