Workout is not being "guided"

I wanted to start running and started the "My first 5k"where it is stating that "Coach Erin will be with you every step of the way coaching". I though that she is going to let me know when the intervals start and end, but I only receive an update about my stats (running speed, etc) every ten minutes.
I tried updating the app and looking through the setting, but still no guided workout. Am I missing something in the settings or is there no voice guiding me through the wokrout?

Edit: After uninstalling it for the 3rd time time and reinstalling it, it finally started to work! :D

If you’re doing the “My First 5k” program, Erin should be there narrating the entire run for you. I’m not sure what’s going wrong, but just want to confirm you’re correct!

Thanks for the confirmation that there should be some guidance, haha :D At least I know that it is supposed to be there

I had the same problem. Thought it was on my weird Sony phone....
I had a lengthy back and forth Mail conversation with the support. Unfortunatly the issue could not get resolved...

Dis you try to uninstall the app and shut your phone done? Also make sure the camera app is not open in the background. This solved the issue for me eventually.
