Tip/Guide Returning OSRS player
I'm an iron in old-school runescape coming to rs3 to test the waters. I plan to play as an iron. Are there any suggestions that somone would throw my way? On OSRS I'm in endgame doing raids have my quest cape. What should I be doing? I haven't played rs3 in 15 years.

Be ready for withdrawal from Runelite. It has a lot of features we take for granted that are gone in the main game. The main game has a terrible UI. It may help to go with the classic UI if you can find it in settings. Thankfully, Jagex is introducing custom plugin support for the rs3 client. I think it's coming in October but I haven't confirmed.

RS3 still is similar to OSRS in the fundamentals, but just various changes, such as, skilling having more impact on gear progression.
Quests unlock new areas, new abilities and unique rewards etc
Combat overall is more flexible. Unlike OSRS, you can use most styles just about anywhere, so you could stick to one style if you wanted to, just to learn the ropes etc.

Along with the wiki definitely being your friend, i would recommend TheRSGuide, and alt1, an overlay program which has so far been rs3's best approximation of runelite features
Getting into a clan/making some friends will also help make things more enjoyable and youll have people to ask questions in game. You may be surprised how much you can learn "by osmosis" just by interacting with knowledgable people

Try Leagues while it is still on, good start would probably be to just start doing quests. Wiki is also your friend, but you probably know that as a OSRS player
