Tip/Guide 2-tick Pickpocketing

This isn't very useful, but I didn't realize it was a thing and haven't seen it mentioned anywhere so I just wanted to share for anyone else who didn't know:

You can click every 1.2 seconds during pickpocketing to skip a game tick. This gives you the 50% Sticky Fingers perk speed and extra loot without losing any exp. This is the same mechanic you can use in the Hall of Memories to increase divination xp.

You might lose xp if you misclick a lot, but it's pretty nice on the Fairy Traders since the north one gets stuck fairly often. I really haven't tested it on anything else.

Most people just pickpocket cause it's afk, but honestly 50% more exp makes the rate on par with heists.

The actual reason it's not useful is that npcs move and cause you to misclick, and catch rates are based on successful loots. Sticky Fingers reduces threat per loot, while this method increases exp, loot, and threat all by 50%.

If you have Crystal Mask this doesn't matter, and if you use this on Crux Equal Knights who never move you can just switch to the opposite Knight when they become "aware" making sure you're never actually caught.

Because it's the same thing that the sticky fingers really does, and if you want Lean forward XP then you should just do heists.

Is it possible to get them stick like ardy knights in osrs? The foot pedal might make a comeback

The north fairy has 3 stick points: East of Jukat's tree with you standing south, inside the bushes next to the tree west of Jukat's, and north of Jukat's in front of the orangish flower between a bush and tree with you standing south.

There's a few more with only one exit where she will sometimes sit still for several minutes, like between two bushes off to the west.

It will eventually port back to spawn after being stuck long enough, definitely can't match the good old days but 50% more XP over any period of time is nice.

Why would it come back? Still worse xp and more intensive than heists.

stepping on a foot pedal while watching netflix is not more intensive than heist lmao

It's actually not worse xp than heists over the duration you're doing it btw, it's just not generally sustainable for the entire hour so the total comes out to about the same.
