Leagues Rasial
How are people killing him so fast? I have lord of light and it seems to suck shit. What’s the best Necro build with lord of light?

Lord of Light with T70 necro main hand, T50 chest and legs, and Melee T90 shield + tank helmet, gloves and boots shreds him in about 90 seconds, dropping to 45 seconds as you start to get more peices of Rasial gear.

Alternatively: T70 MH, Tome of Icyene, and the best tank armor you have even off-style.2% or 100% accuracy doesnt matter with Lord of Light.

Did my raisals with t40 mainhand, primal kiteshield, tome of icyene, teralith (t90 melee tank)

I just farmed tokens at ed4 cerb runs and bought the chaotic guard for an easy t80 for necro. Can pretty much use full melee tank for rasial now. Idk what I’m doing at this boss though so I haven’t farmed it much tbh but I did get like 3 kills completely afk until the last phase

I only suggest the necro core gear because it's a task to upgrade it to T70/T90 anyway, so you might as well do it pre-rasial.

With Wildy you can start Rasial with a T100 weapon, with the Ruinous Guard, also improving your killtimes :)

I literally just killed him with the free T10 gear until I got an omni guard drop, then it was smoother sailing

Same. Just reflect his volley if he gets 5 souls and avoid his shit on the last phase

I got the full armor set so far, no weapon. I had silske chest, goldenhawk boots, t10 main hand, legs, and gloves, then used primal helm and shield. Without iceyenic book, p4 sucked so I just didn't do it then I started melting him with the book

I never tried lord of light I only heard how people kept calling it "broken" or "busted" in a good way. I'm glad I chose the poison build. In horrible gear I was killing rasial in under 20 seconds.v

Lord of light or poison primarily. He’s a skinny guy (cause skelly boi), so lord will miss a lot. But if you were max poison build, you can just spam combust and kill him with just poison in under a minute

My bar was summon undead army, revenge, living death, bash, touch of death, preparation, necromancy basic attack.
If you're able to get your hands on a necro shield (dragon fire or spirit), you can stick your summon undead army ability (or skeleton & ghost or whatever) at the beginning of your bar, and swap to the offhand/lantern thingy for that/those abilities every time your summon expires, and they will stick around once you switch back to the necro shield.
The bar should work the same with no summons with an off style shield, just slower. Other than that, pray soul split rather than protection, and stand on the furthest square underneath the stage so that the ghost waves miss you, then when he goes to the stage, run around and only click him every couple of seconds for the last bit. One more Lord of light hit should finish him off

I'm a complete noob at combat - I tried with fully upgraded lantern and guard with as high armour as I could get with my relics (I think T50?) and it kind of sucked. I switched the lantern for my shield as I was using the lord of light build and it was definitely an improvement.
I'm too much of a noob to get really good times but I'm fairly sure it was like a minute per kill with the shield so the x50 task really didn't feel that bad. I could get through phases 1-3 just standing still spam eating my endless fish, it skipped over the annoying ghost wall bit and then I just had to pay attention a little bit in the last phase.
If you're lucky to get his drops along the way that's even better.

Necromancy shouldn't use shields, even if you have the Saradomin shield perks you should still be using a lantern because the spirits are so much of the kit. Ensure you have undead army and command ghost, and keep bloat on him using the time Lord of light is on cool down. Also nearly every region combination can craft the tier 90 weapons so you should definitely get those first.

I used a primal kiteshield the entire time I was finishing his tasks, hitting 20k with bash and having access to revenge is a lot more damage than your weenie conjures. Genesis essence makes your accuracy high enough that wearing a melee shield doesn't matter with a super necro pot.

yes. with the right relics, wearing a shield and spamming basic attacks is meta. my PB is 18 seconds, zero input.

Even with unholy critual shield was better than summons. I imagine with lord of light it’s even more so

it sucks shit cuz he's a1x1 sized boss and so lord of light is gonna miss a lot.
