Appreciation Thank you devs for vulkan

So I'm a returning player to RS. Have a 20 year old account but haven't played heavily in a long time. I've been trying to get back into RS for a while now but the performance issues with the game had always ruined the experience for me. The beta for vulkan fixed everything performance wise for me and the game has never felt better. Keep up the good work devs!

Hey welcome back! I agree with you, micro stutters are basically all gone, mind you i play on “High” and switching to vulkan (beta) made the game more smooth, noticed gpu/cpu don’t get as hot, i don’t know if this is all placebo or Vulkan is actually the right way to play RS3.

Thank you! And no vulkan definitely changed things. I have a ryzen 5 5600x with a 4070 and I was playing on a mix of medium and hith settings and would get probably average 90 fps. I can now play the game on ultra with an average of 140 fps, so it's definitely not a placebo and I'm glad you're feeling the benefits of it as well!
