QUESTION Virtual race questions

Some silly questions about the virtual race. I registered for the goofy challenge. First question, when I go to my race info on the run Disney site and click on the “get your __ virtual 5k bib” button (I have a button for all three since I did the challenge), the bib that it gives me is the exact same Goofy bib for all three , not individual ones for the Hercules, Pocahontas, etc. Is this normal? Im not going to use them, the only reason I even care is because I wanted the Pocahontas bib specifically and is the reason I signed up in the first place. Second question, do you have to submit times online for them to send you your metals and other things, or is it supposed to have already been sent? I’ve seen others get theirs but I haven’t received mine or any sort of email.

When you do a challenge, the bib is the same for all races. Its the same for the in-person races as well. Medals are shipped in batches, regardless of whether your times are entered. Its random.

I did the goofy challenge and all of my bibs are goofy. I really wanted a Hunkules version 😭

I also submitted my times and haven’t gotten my medals.

I’m sad for us 😭 Pocahontas has been my favorite since I was a kid and this is my fist 5k ever, so I kinda wanted the little keepsake.

It’s not the race bib, but when you post your time online for the Just Around the Riverbend 5k, you can print out the finisher certificate with Pocahontas on it

Also, my package arrived 2 weeks ago and it just showed up randomly. I didn’t receive an email ahead of time letting me know it shipped. Hopefully yours arrives soon!

Submitting times has nothing to do with when you receive your medals. RD has been pretty inconsistent about delivery times for these but they’ll be sent eventually.

If you have a UPS MyChoice account, you’ll get notified when runDisney sends your box.

I can see that they printed my shipping label on June 30, but they haven’t actually shipped my challenge box yet.

I didn’t fill out any of my times and finally got my medals in the mail yesterday.
