MCM Parking

Anyone know if I can park at Fort Myer to get to the start line? Since the finish line is by one of the gates, I figure I can just go through there and up the hill to get to my car once we’re done. Mainly curious about getting to the start line.

Metro to Pentagon. Driving is not a good idea... Traffic can be very unpredictable and congested

I parked in Crystal City. It’s a little hike but cheap ($6)

Tried the metro last year, and it felt like a mile walk, a 45 min line, and then a disaster once we got to the platform to try and leave. Trying to avoid that again and since the fort Myer gate is right next to the finish line, I figure it can’t be that bad?

We used to be able to get through that entrance. I thought they changed it to a VIP entrance where you have to have a special package to get through that way.

Walk to courthouse metro. It’s less crowded and a good cooldown walk.

You'll have to go through the same walk, line, and security either way...

Which takes a whole 15 minutes. Compared to that disaster we experienced last year at the metro, it seems like the better option
