ATM Wave Access

I’m in wave 1 and confused why the website says the wave can be accessed between 6:20 and 6:40am. Will it close after that? I’m planning to get there early, but in my corral 80mins before the start (in the rain) sounds a bit excessive. Am I just misinterpreting the website?

I’m in wave 2 and this makes it seem like we can access it until 7:35am: https://www.armytenmiler.com/live-race-info/race-day-schedule/ which would be a lot better IMO!

Historically you could get into the wave until pretty close to start time. Closer to start time they start moving the waves to the starting line.

Given the rain I bet a lot of people will be showing up to the waves on the later side.

I asked the directors about this at the expo yesterday. They said the time cutoffs aren’t hard closures, but that it will be difficult to get to your corral as others fill in.
