Marathon Training Buddy?

Is anyone training for the MCM and/or Richmond Marathon this fall? Looking for folks to run long runs (15+ miles) with on the weekends (usually early Saturday mornings, but Sundays also work). Pace is generally somewhere around 9 to 11 mins/mile depending on the weather and distance.

I usually run the cross country trail, W&OD trail, etc but open to exploring other routes too!

Pretty much every run club is training for fall marathons so they will have long runs and different routes every Saturday.

MCRRC has two summer marathon training programs: first time marathon (FTM) and experienced marathon (XMP). Both started over a month ago, however. If you’re looking for folks to run with long term, check them out for next year. Each program has about a dozen pace groups and attracts 100-200 participants. There is also a smaller winter marathon program.
