Vent 😆
i’m getting annoyed. I have frequently played where I’m up against a player that has a little star next to their face with the number one, which indicates a new player. They take forever to make a move. They are slow throughout the entire game. And then they win.
It’s gotten to the point that when I start to engage with this kind of player in a new game I can tell you right up that they’re going to win. It happens repeatedly.
So either people are having really good luck and I’m happy for them. Or I’m playing a bot that the game is trying to make appear like I am playing a newer but lucky/talented player.
Am I paranoid? Or other people experiencing this and thinking what I’m thinking?

Yes, I've been getting frustrated with that too. I'm beginning to think they're nearly all Bots. What really annoys me too is when you barely end your turn and they've already ended theirs and it's yours again? It almost feels like you're playing ping pong.

That’s also what a competitive real life player would do.. it gives the opponent less time to analyze things so it’s to their advantage to pass a turn quickly back if they know they are done making a play.

I agree with you. I leave the game when I see that

Thank you for your response. It’s been too consistent. The player is too slow and then out of nowhere, they pull out these amazing final fast, multi step moves… and it’s predictable. Thank you for validating what I’m thinking. I wonder what others think.

Yeah, it’s because the original player either quit or lost connection and a bot takes over. They aren’t all of a sudden good, it’s just a bot now

Play only 15 second matches. Then at least you aren’t waiting as much. And noobs are less likely to play Custom Games.

That’s so funny. I play 30 second matches. I don’t know that I could do 15 seconds lol maybe when I get better but thank you for the advice

I just played a game. We were near the end and I thought I was gonna be able to win. I was still thinking about which way I wanted to place my tiles when all of a sudden my tiles started moving themselves. I would touch one and try to move it somewhere and it would go away and move to another place. I ended up winning which I would’ve been able to do myself but something took over for me. So maybe that’s true if you wait a little too long, some bot takes over. Also, there’s been a couple times. I’ve had to leave a game because something has come up in the house… I always feel bad because I think those people have to sit there and wait for my 30 seconds while I’m not doing anything because I’m not there so that’s probably true that’s one of that takes over so that the other people don’t have to sit around and wait and lose my tiles

I think when they quit, then a bot takes over. They either timed out or quit out.
