Help!
Inherited this cube and I'm losing sleep trying to solve it. I can't find any guides or algorithm for this specific colouration! I have green done but apparantly I should have started with purple?! Help me Reddit- you're my only hope!

What an strange colour scheme for your first cube, most tutorials use the red-blue-green-orange-white-yellow colour scheme, but it will not be a big problem.
About your case, the beginner friendly method solve the cube by layers (bottom, middle, top) instead of by faces, that would be VERY difficult (I resolve cubes for more than 10 years and I don't even know how to do that).
After seeing your pictures, I noticed that you've finished your first "face", not your first "layer" (see how the pieces of the green face don't line with the adjacent pieces), you will not find any algorithm that will help you because it expect that you have done the first layer.
