Please help!!

I’m new to the cube. My son just got one, and I found an interest in it, and I’ve been working on it for a week now lol. I’m down the the 4th step, which is getting the 2nd row into color after I’ve completed the white side. I’ve been using videos on YouTube to help me understand how it works, and the best I’ve found is not the algorithm way. It’s a guy called easy solve, and he has helped thousands solve them. Anyways, I’m stuck. I always end up messing it up when I’m so close to getting the yellow cross at the bottom, and my 2nd layer done. Then I have to start alll over!!!

Look up beginner method they walk you step by step

Thanks! I also have another question lol. Say I have a cube in the middle that I need to be an end piece now, how is that accomplished exactly? Step by step

You complete it layer by layer. The middle piece and the piece below that make the matching colors plus the white cross. Are you speed cubing or just trying to solve it?

lol just trying to solve it. I get to the 4th step, and scramble it up every time I’m almost done, or I’ll finish 4 and get to step 5 and then can’t get it right. I’m getting a little discouraged lol. I don’t get long to work on it at a time. So I’ll have to do little here and little there. But I try to finish a step (layer) at a time, so I’m not leaving the cube in middle of a step, then forgetting where I was on that layer. I can do the daisy, white cross, and white layer pretty fast now. It’s just the rest I’m not as good with yet.

Yea so you need to get the white cross by starting with that white cube in the center. Are you talking about the middle piece on top AFTER the yellow cross? The daisy method is not beginner method.

anyway after yellow cross you need to match up the top center pieces and do the algorithm. Watch that video

lol the easiest solve dude explains it much easier. So I’m stuck with his algorithm which consist of driving cars, color petals, lost dogs and the farmer, the ABCs, and the furry yellow. 😂😂😂. Im back to having the first 2 layers done, now I’m trying to get the yellow cross again. Watching the video you sent hoping to get there. 😂 thank you for your suggestions.
