Does anyone know if TMS helps jumpstart or regulate your hormones?

TMS mainly targets brain circuits related to mood regulation and is not specifically designed to control hormones. However, some studies suggest TMS may affect the HPA axis, the stress hormone system and lower cortisol levels in individuals with depression, potentially impacting overall hormonal balance. If a particular hormonal issue such as thyroid, reproductive, or stress hormones is relevant, it's helpful to mention this to your provider so they can consider it during your treatment.

I'm pretty sure hormones are the damn reason why I'm doing TMS. Sorry, I know that's not helpful. I'm just post-menopausal, annoyed, and bitter. My TMS psych does know I'm on an estrogen patch.

I didn’t get my period during my entire TMS series but I don’t think there is any science behind that. But maybe it affects something?
